Lately, I’ve noticed a little discomfort around writing for my blog.
I’ve acknowledged that I’m still in the beginning phase, where I’m unsure what the focus of my blog will be. What is the main theme I want to share and provide to others?
Also, I’ve realized I’m not the writer I want to be just yet. I’m still struggling with consistency, and looking back at older posts, I wonder if I shared my thoughts too fast, as some have slightly changed since then.
Right now, this blog still feels more like a personal journal than a polished brand—a space for exploration, not certainty.
Being ‘raw’ or unpolished in front of others is uncomfortable, but there’s so much merit in it:
The Merit of Growth
By being truthful to the process, I keep returning to the question:
Why and what do I want to share with the world?
Who am I becoming? And how do I want to show up?
I believe these are important questions to ask. A life with no intention is only a half-lived life.
The Merit of Vulnerability
Many of the books I’ve been reading lately touch on death, and how much of what we worry about, especially others’ opinions, simply fades once we’re gone.
That reminder gives me the courage to lean into vulnerability when I create. Whether I’m learning, processing, or just reflecting, I’d rather share from an honest place than pretend to have it all figured out.
The Merit of Perspective
I also remind myself: most people are far less focused on me than I imagine. Thus, holding myself back because of what others might think about me is silly. People’s perceptions will shift as I shift.

Even as I grow and refine, I believe this stage holds its own kind of impact.
What’s your take on being raw? Does it feel freeing, terrifying, or something in between?
