My name is Jasmin Fatou Bernd. I grew up in Basel, Switzerland, and moved to Busan, South Korea, to follow my dream of immersing myself in different cultures.

Living in Korea deepened my passion for linguistics, teaching, and fashion. I built lasting friendships by teaching German to my fellow undergrad students and learning Korean in return. While I had always dabbled in creative industries, I fully started my journey in the industry as a model in 2022 in Seoul. I had the privilege of working with amazing people and learning a lot about myself.

After almost six years in Korea, I yearned for something new and moved to the sunny state of California. No longer tied to a visa, as I happened to be born in New Jersey, I was once again able to explore diverse fields.

I spent almost a year and a half in Los Angeles, and while it fueled my interest in acting and film, my passion for fashion and photography remains just as strong.

Along with that, I’m letting something back into my life that I had long pushed aside: my love for writing.

Currently, I am in New York – the city that never sleeps.
